Another day, another prime example of the Markle sparkle in effect. Meghan Markle stepped out for the ultimate British summer weekend at the Audi Polo Challenge Ascot, showing Us all how a Duchess dresses for a day off. And in typical Duchess of Sussex fashion, the outfit sold out in the blink of an eye — less than two days.
The focal point of Markle’s day at the polo look was her midi-length tan and white gingham A-line sleeveless wrap dress from the American label Shoshanna, which was available on ShopBop and Amazon up until this weekend. The serious bummer: neither brand has said whether the frock will be restocked. But if you are looking for a way to look polished, keep cool and still look like a member of the royal family, a midi wrap dress is a great place to start.
But Meghan’s dress wasn’t the only sellout of the look— her straw hat (a Markle style staple she’s worn on numerous occasions prior to her marriage to Prince Harry), also flew off the shelves. The Madewell x Biltmore Panama is currently sold out, but here’s to hoping that it will be restocked.
Meanwhile, The Duchess of Sussex sported a pair of tan Sarah Flint sandals for the outing, a necessity for every woman, and while the shoe is still available, it’s currently stocked in very limited sizes. This isn’t the first time that Markle has worn Sarah Flint shoes. The newly-minted Duchess wore the Perfect Pump from the label to her first solo outing with Queen Elizabeth on June 14. Luckily for Us all, the label has extended the colors and heel heights of the style that Markle wore, so one way or another, we can all nab at least one element of her killer style ASAP.
